"Hello! My name is Ju Eun Gu. 

 

I am a working illustrator from Seoul, Korea with a BFA in Illustration from SCAD Atlanta. 

 

My strength and passion revolves around book illustration, pattern and character design. I primarily work with watercolor and color pencil, but I am well versed in working digitally, such as in Photoshop. 

 

My inspiration is primarily gathered from stained glass and art history, especially in the Art Nouveau style, a style that leads my love of illustrating portraits, flowers and rich patterns. Further, I am compelled to create from other forms of inspiration, such as books, animation and movies. I feel with them, my art expands wider and deeper.
